​Listening is good. Playing is better!

​Kids Teaching Music was created in 2018 after meeting and talking with a mother whose daughter wanted to play piano, but they could not afford the lessons.  In that moment, we were inspired to bridge the gap, using less expensive high school musicians to provide music lessons for all kids at affordable prices.  
 
In addition to offering lessons, Kids Teaching Music, also offers support with practice time, because sometimes it’s just more fun to practice with a “big kid!”
 

Although originally launched to provide in-person lessons, Kids Teaching Music, moved to virtual instruction in 2020 due to COVID-19. In the spirit of helping the community, $5 from every lesson will be donated to the local food pantry. We utilize Zoom and other technologies…Kids Teaching Music believes you should continue to progress in your music even when you have to stay home.
